An attractive cottage, with parts dating to the 18th Century, nestling in the hamlet of Brockton - in beautiful countryside - 5 miles from Much Wenlock.
The cottage sleeps up to 8 people (but is best suited to 6 + 2 children - SEE bedroom information). Standing detached, the property boasts a wealth of original features including exposed beams and low, sloping ceilings with an inglenook fireplace in the lounge.
The cottage has been tastefully modernised but retains the "feel" of a country cottage from a byegone age - all in keeping with the local village/rural environment.
With open views across countryside to the Clee hills, the cottage is close to historic Wenlock Edge (an 400 million year old coral reef, full of fossil evidence of the area's geological past), in fact many fossils can be seen in the stonework in and around the cottage.
There is an ancient Iron Age fort (800 yards from the property) and the cottage is close to many towns and areas of historic interest eg. Ironbridge Gorge (World Heritage site), Bridgnorth, Ludlow, Shresbury, Church Stretton (and the Long Mynd), and the South Shropshire Hills (areas of outstanding natural beauty).
